Oh no what is happening to Thor?
This was the weekend where dreams were made and crushed. Aubrey and I were helping to clean out her grandfathers old house when we stumbled upon a huge box of Silver Age Comics. To our excitement we began to slowly dig through the large box only to find water damage and rot. Our dreams were shattered, disappointed we gathered what we could and put the rest aside for inspection later.
Coming back the next day, another box was discovered. This time it closed and in a higher location to keep away from water. We found more Silver Age Comics in better condition, some look close to near mint. We took it to comics and friends for of them the owners to look over. Dreams crushed, they are not in the greatest shape for resale, however that doesn’t mean that some one wouldn’t want them.
We have bagged and boarded them, I have read a couple that were in good condition to read, and our collection is now something that has grown with the Silver Age. So to you true believers out there, we got our hands on some Fantastic Four written by Stan Lee and penciled by Jack Kirby. And a rare Thor done by both of those great men, so dreams come true just not how you expect them to sometimes.
